This dress is the softest cotton material with JUST enough stretch. The drawstring waist cinches you in, perfect for the office OR a breezy brunch with the girls! It’s a new staple in my closet, in fact I just ordered 3 more – ONE IN EVERY COLOR!! I bought a large and the fabric drapes in all the right places, especially covering my mom pooch 🤣🤣🤣It’s an instant outfit, just add shoes and a bag! LOVE IT!

Did not receive item. Amazon sent a replacement which I like very much. It fits well, looks great, very easy to dress up or down. This will be a very useful dress. I bought a medium. I’m 5’8” and weigh 160#. Pear shape, small on top, larger on bottom so skirt is large enough to hide larger part. It is a bit see through in strong daylight but not in inside light or nighttime.However, Amazon now has it listed as a return and credit will be given when return is received but I have nothing to return!!

Great Dress With Caveats
Speaking for myself – I decided that this is a dress that’s very forgiving for those of us with extra weight. I could not find any summer casual dress that fit me the way I wanted – or didn’t have tiered ruffles, layers, etc. that served to make me look bigger. This finally hit the right note. It’s very simple, draws in at waist, & a light material that works for hot summer days. Comfortable and casual enough to be able to throw on a pair of leather sandals and be done.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a really nice dress, it’s very pretty. It truly can be casual or you could wear it to work. I am 5’1″ and 180lbs. This dress fits me perfectly it is a midi on me but I don’t mind that at all. I usually wear a size 20/22 dress and I ordered this in the xxl. I got it in black but I’m ordering the French blue and white. I have not laundered it yet.

Not a horrible dress but be prepared
Fabric is soft and flowy but somewhat translucent to light and nice color; pattern is okay but stripes are wider/thicker than expected. Sizing is NOT very accurate. I am 5ft8, 145# slim/athletic build and medium is my suggested size. According to Amazon’s size chart and my measurements (I’m a sewing hobbyist), this dress should have fit better but even with chest darts it’s loose and baggy at the bust, sleeves and waist; I tried tightening with the drawstring but it’s hard to work through the string casing so I will likely replace with a matching ribbon or smaller drawstring. The seams are well-sewn and finished. The sleeves end just above my elbows and are loose around the cuffs. The length is okay and hits me at upper mid-calf but I’m tall and have long legs. I will have to measure the dress and take it in at the appropriate places and alter the sleeve length/fit.Not a horrible dress by any means and the best part is the roomy hidden pockets but be prepared in case the fit is unexpected for your recommended size.
