So glad to have found a dress made of cotton with no frills, textures, or seams around the middle! My daughter never wears dresses bc she has Sensory Processing Disorder and all dresses we see have a seam around the middle or something that makes the dress uncomfortable for her. Her 5th grade dance was a white theme and I was nervous we wouldn’t find anything. I ordered another similar white dress but it was made of synthetic material and she hated the feel. I ordered this one and we both cried when she tried it on. So happy she felt comfortable and looked adorable for her dance.

Very soft fabric and a great simple cut
I recently purchased this dress for my daughter, and I’m already planning to buy a few more in different colors, it’s that good. It’s a simple dress and is pretty versatile, it’s sporty and great for running around but can be also dressed up because the fabric and the cut are classic. It’s made of incredibly soft cotton that feels really comfortable. I was also impressed with the quality of the fabric. It’s lightweight, breathable, and has a good quality texture with a little bit of sheen.

Overpriced
The size fit perfectly on my granddaughter (50 lbs, size 8). It was also soft enough for her sensitive skin. It is made well but the cotton seems less substantial than I was expecting for $30. I was concerned about shrinkage so I washed in cold water and hung to dry. Needs to be ironed.

We are so happy with the quality–durability, stitching, comfort–of this brand that I am ordering product again. The original product I ordered has been in our wardrobe far longer than any other piece I have for my two-year old. It fits perfectly through multiple sizes due to the A-line shape. The fabric is super soft and while it is pricey, when I look at the cost versus the time of use (my child grows quick!), it is the best of bargains. Can’t beat that it is made in the USA. I plan on ordering even more!! Cute dress, I’m using as a nightgown for my 10 yr old daughter, going to iron on an LPS design as Christmas present for her… However… These is a hole near tag that’s been hand sewn (this is unsightly and also uncomfortable). I’d like to have a nice grade A item, especially for the price of these garments. I sew many children’s outfits for boutiques and this is an extremely basic. a-line design. (no ruffles or pockets or collars that might justify the cost of these simple jersey items). I’d love to keep it and need it for my daughter’s gift, yet, sadly with a hole that’s been “sewn up” I’m just not able to accept this quality :(.Happy to purchase American made, yet.. Please give your customers A grade products if you are stating them as such… Especially for $20.00. Thank you.Update…Contacted City Threads and the manager was very apologetic and is sending me out a new replacement asap bc he knows I need it for Christmas. Their customer service is excellent and I appreciate that they took care of the situation :). So increased the stars to 5. Thank you.

Terrific, comfy dress
These are terrific, little dresses for my active toddler girl. Dresses make diaper changes much quicker and the length of this dress doesn’t interfere with her walking, crawling, climbing, or playing.I bought the white one to tie-dye for her and it worked beautifully; tie-dye won’t work with synthetic fabrics, so this 100% cotton dress was exactly what I was looking for! I will probably buy a couple more to tie-dye in other patterns for her and larger sizes for my two big girls, because it’s a fun activity we all enjoy.My big girls each have the long-sleeved version of this dress and they are a little larger than expected, but soft and comfortable, and the colors were exactly as depicted on my monitor (15″ MacBook Pro with Retina display).

… dress and some other City Threads items for my best friend’s granddaughter
I bought this dress and some other City Threads items for my best friend’s granddaughter, a 21/2 year-oild who doesn’t like clothes that hurt. I actually bedazzled and did some machine embroidery on this and a couple of shirts, personalizing them. Just mailed them today and hoping that they go over well but know that I did not compromise the softness of this really nice cotton. It’s rare to find any garments made in the USA and these little clothes are extremely well-constructed, made with a cotton that’s a perfect weight and so very soft, well- worth paying a little more for!
